Engine: 3.1...not hardly stock
Transmission: 700r4....not stock either
Axle/Gears: 3.73
injectors

i found a set of 19# injectors from a 92 Z-28. will they drop straight into my 91 3.1 (minus 2 obviously)? will any gm injectors work?what will fit the stock fuel rail and wiring harness? Thanks for all info.

Will "stick in" fit, but I hope you have some serious mods done to engine to need 19lb. I installed 17lb in mine and was more then it needed.

I agree Dale . You will be running richer than Bill Gates if you dont have some serious mods .

agreed to justify 19 lb injectors on such a small engine you better have some serious mods to get the required air in

i.e. ported heads, ported intake, pretty good camshaft

think about this: a 2.8 is less than half the size of the 305 those injectors came off of............

Uhhh. I dop not have "serious" mods. just a few and I am running 19lb'ers with no trouble at all. I also reset the computer before starting up so it could recalibrate for the larger injectors, but the bothersome "lean" spots disapeared.

thats very strange since your drastically changing your injectors' duty cycle............

oh yea, definately got serious mods. motor's not in car yet but almost ready to go in.

ported/polished heads: check
ported intake: gonna be (once i pull it off of old motor)
pretty good cam: BIG check

list goes on...
