who has a Z28/IROC grill insert?

I have a 91 RS with the blah looking grill. I was looking on eBay and I see that I can replace my grill with a Z28 bowtie or Iroc "camaro" grill insert. I would like to get the one that says camaro. I was wondering if anyone has swapped out the the blah grill cover for a z28 or IROC cover and did you wire up the foglights or leave the space empty. Did the grill fit properly? Thanks.

You should just ask this on appearence and detailing, or the body board. I am sure it swaps right in. As for the fog lamps, I am sure this is no big deal when you hook them in. But try posting there, you will get tons of response.

I did exactly that with my car. Here's the picture of it showing the updated front. I also installed the stock fog lights and stock interior switch to the fog lights, and now it looks like the car came with them! Check out my webpage for more pics.

P.S. I have a spare Z28 grill here, if you can't find one, I could take pics and you could make an offer if you don't have luck finding one.

Hey that looks really good. Did it bolt right up? Did you add a seperate switch for the lights? My dad didn't want to splice the fog lights into the exsisting ones. He says we can possible run a wire from the lights, to a fuse, then to a interior switch. Does that make any sense? It sounds like a lot of work though. I think I'm gonna order the "camaro" grill through F-body motorsports if i can't get it cheap on eBay.

Thanks! Yes, it did bolt right up. I added the stock interior switch that goes right under where the headlight switch is. I also added a relay so that the fogs turn off when I have the high beams on, becuase that is a law.

-Z28 grill w/ fog lamps w/ H3 HID Bulbs
Do you have those H3 bulbs in the stock fog lights? If so are they brighter?

No and yes. I do not have the factory foglights. But, yes the new bulbs are brighter than the ones that were in them...
