i have that adapter plate (not installed though) but it looks like hood clearance may be an issue, might need a cowl indection hood scoop or something. I'm not sure though, just a thought.
i new that one exsisted , ive made a cutom shaker scoop adition so i should be able to clear the hood and everything. but i still need to know what to do about the egr and all the computer comntorled stuff on the stock manifold.

If you look closely at the 2 different tops. The one for the 2 barrel is set-up for the EGR where as the one for the 4 barrel is not. The manifold according to my catalog is a performer not a Torker 2. IF you go with the 4 barrel, Edelbrock only recomends a 390 Holley.
I noticed in the one pictures of the headers that Iroc57TPI posted that they put an EGR hook up on the headers, maybe that could work for you, I don't know for sure may TomP does. I think that there was a post awhile back about removing the EGR altogether.
