will 3.4 heads fit on our 2.8 i know that the chamber is much bigger but i do belive they make headers for the 3.4

They will bolt up. the ports arnt any bigger. The valve spring is "slightly" larger.

Yes they make headers for the 3.4l, however, all the accessorys, etc., that bolt on to it, and around it are different.

If you can make them work, be our guest.

 

3.1firebird got the 3.4 headers to work. had to, make that had his grandfather, take a toch to them & bend them to clear firewall & fit. still need y-pipe made.

 

You don't have to replace the heads to bolt up the 3.4 headers.. the 3.4 headers will bolt to the 2.8 heads just fine.. the reason they're called 3.4 headers is they're designed to clear the engine components on the 3.4 camaros, *not* our stuff. I don't know exactly what's in the way, but suffice to say it's easier to bend the headers than move the stuff they interfere with. After such action, a custom Y-pipe will definitely be needed, also.
