MAF sensor question (+)
Hi everybody!
I have a Camaro `85 (by VIN it is 5,0) but when i got it it was 2,8 MPFI with dead motor. I've found good motor from FireBird `92 (3,1 MPFI) and replaced it. Now, i have several problems with car. One is the fuel non-economy. I burn 1 liter of fuel for 1 km of town driving. I went to diagnostics. They told me that my MAF sensor does not work. Well, one detail is that my 3,1 motor connected to ECM from 2,8. What is the difference between MAF sensors for 2,8 and 5,0 l motor?

Biggest difference is... a 3.1 doesn't use a MAF!
3.1s use speed density for the air management functions.
Have the MAF replaced as it sounds like the shop figured it out. If the bad mileage continues, let us know
