New Version of RWD 3.4l???
I was surfing web for cams, and somehow came across this. I have not seen it before, or heard anything about it. Somewhat looks like it should be a FWD, but they call it a truck engine(LA1)

Despite the fact that they call it a "truck engine", notice they also designate it as 3400?
And also, all the vehicles surrounding it, which I assume are the vehicles that carry this motor, I don't see any true 'trucks'...those all, especially all the vans, could likely be FWD.
I really like the power curves on that motor. The torque curve is nice and flat, making almost 200 ft lbs as low as 1000 rpms... Not to mention the horsepower curve is very linear, and the peak is made at a decent range.

don't know so much about how the engines sit in the AWD "trucks" out there that GM's manufacturing now. But i did notice that the engine in the picture is a FWD version. Does the S10 or Sanoma have a six cylinder option anymore? for that truck, the only motor they're showing is the lil 2200 .

prolly out of a aztec or rendezvous
i believe they are considered trucks
in the Tech II scan tool, you have to enter them as trucks if i remember correctly
FYI, they are front wheel drive (i think they are available as AWD though)
