TPS adjustment
TPS adjustment
Read a little article about 5.0s in Car Craft and they reccomend checking the TPS voltage so I did a search, couldn't find anything after wading through for a half hour so forgive me if it's been asked. First of all, can you adjust it, second how do you, and third what did you see in gains power wise (doubt it) or just throttle response or gas milage.
Thanks,
David

The tps enhancer is worthless; does nothing except waste your $$.
Adjusting your TPS for the proper voltage is not a mod. Voltage should be within spec or your engine runs poorly, that's all.
You missed the Tech Central area, off of thirdgen.org's main page... the link is here: https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/tpimod2.shtml Our v6's use a slightly different voltage spec, 0.55 volts +/- 0.05 at idle.
So power, throttle response, and gas mileage can be improved just because your computer will "really" know where the throttle is. It's not really a mod, just one of those things that people forget to do (like checking the TV cable adjustment for an automatic transmission).
