3.1l.. aftermarket performance parts?

First off allow me to quickly introduce myself.. I'm Daryl and I have a 92 RS Camaro, 3.1 litre. Clickie here for a pic:

http://www.boomspeed.com/illuminous/020_17A.JPG

Now my question is, are there any companies that make performance parts for our V-6s? Im talking simple things, like pulleys, headers, ignition, etc.

How feasible would you say that, oh, 200 NA RWHP is with my car? Raw speed doesnt float my boat, so no I wont go out and look for a Z28. V-6 representin', yo.

Anyways, if anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be much obliged. Thanks.

there are starting to be many aftermarket performance parts for the 2.8-3.1-3.4 60 degree engines.......

yes they do sell underdrive pulleys, roller rockers, accel coils, jacobs pro street ingnition systems, holley ingnition modules,
crane makes a 50 state legal emissions cam, comp cams makes
cams for our engines as do blue racer and various others.
dynomax cat back exhaust system for 150-170$
it all depends on how much u want to spend on power gaines!
there are some people here that have spent thousands and others that have spent a few hundred.. its all up to u..
im sure if you want to get some bolt ons u can call summit racing at 1-800 230-3030 they will be glad to sell u parts for the set up your looking for.....

I agree man...nice car. Are your rims painted red? From the camera angle/lighting is almost looks like they're painted black... By the way....I think some taillight blackouts would look kickass on that car. Not to mention some chrome 3 inch tips...then you'll be in business. (Yeah, that was completely off topic, but what the hell....)

200 rhwp though....that's a hell of a goal....my V8 is probably pushing only maybe 215 or 220 rwhp.... You're essentially looking to a little under double your rhwp. With full-out ignition, intake, exhaust, and internals....I suppose it's POSSIBLE....but very unlikely without mucho dinero. These engines don't get large doses of horsepower from aftermarket parts. Intake assembly, maybe 2 or 3 hp... Exhaust....I'd guess 5-7 hp....see where I'm going here? Going from 140 to maybe 230 at the fly is quite a ways to go..

Thanks again for the compliments.

Okay, so maybe 200 on the floor is a bit unrealistic. But I will squeeze every bit I can get out of it.

And yea, my rims were origionally red, but they were painted black... starting to fade now, but when I get some new centercaps im going to have them painted black again. I love the black on red look. :lala:
