v6 to v8, already posted in the swap section

i already posted this in the swap section and nobody has answered me. how hard is the Lg4 carbed swap? it's from an 84 camaro. do i have to get the tranny from the camaro also? i have a firebird.

You will need everything from the donor car. Engine, tranny, radiator, computer, wiring harness, etc. Motor mounts have to be moved. I believe one of the brake lines will have to be moved slightly. You'd be best off using V8 springs, shocks, etc to accommodate the heavier engine.

You're probably not getting answers on the swap board because the topic has been beaten to death three times over. Try doing a search, I'm sure you'll get lots of info. Then if you need, ask a question about a particular part of the swap.
