ECM problems, and MAP problems
ok i just rebuilt the top end of my 87 2.8 camaro. (blown head gasket and collapsed lifter). well i got it back together and it fired right up, but now it sputters like a bitch when accelerating and will stall when it warms up when im down shifting. so you can see where the stalling would be a problem when im MOVING. so yea. i checked the computer and it says im not getting any electronic pulses to my ECM and my voltage to my MAP or MAF sensor is low. what can i do to fix these things cause my chilton book it hiding the answers from me.

Whew; you can't use a Chiltons or a Haynes to diagnose the service engine soon light... you need the GM manual, from http://www.helminc.com . That being said, you'll be glad I typed up the code 34 chart for us a long time ago!
(You have a MAF, not a MAP, by the way.) The link to the chart is here: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=156516 If you rebuilt the top end, the chart should be extra-easy for you.
Let us know how it goes!!
