3.4 question
i got a 94 camaro today with a 3.4 in it, is there a distributer? i dont see one but it could be tucked way back in there

ok so its just way way back there...3rd gens were so much easier to work on, that thing would be really hard to replace..lol i cant even see it, how would ever get tools back there

DIS = Distributorless Ignition System
No distributor...just a coil pack, maybe two, if I remember correctly.

3 coil paks. where the distributor would go, is something that looks like a decapitated distributor. This is basically a plug that holds the oilpump shaft in place.
edit: my motor was from a 94 camaro. first the freakiness between Karl's & my cars (almost identicle twins separated at the factory), now this...
