stalling problems
I have an 88 Camaro w/ a 2.8 w/ 92K miles and have been having one problem after another for the past three weeks. I'm no mechanic, and since mine screwed up my car, I'm here for some help. First, I had the rear intake manifold/ valve cover gaskets serviced to stop an oil leak. They also replaced my distributor.Upon getting my car back, it would stall at every stop when the engine was warmed to about 160 degrees. Putting it in neutral seemed to help along with hitting the gas. The car would always start right back up after a stall. After I brought it back, they cleaned the throttle body and did something with the TPS, and fixed my idle. I also had a new oxygen sensor put in. The car ran better than ever for 3 days. Then, while warming it up it stalled out & was hard to start. Now it stalls while hitting the gas and will barely start back up. My starter is fairly new also. What did my mechanic do to my car? It ran fine all the time before I had the oil leak fixed. Haynes isn't helpin' me narrow it down.
