I bought my Monroe sensatrac's back in 1996... they worked great. Of course, now they're shot... I'm guessing I had around 120,000 miles back then... now I'm at 250,000. I should probably cash in on Monroe's lifetime warranty! 'Course, that means I've gotta find the receipt...

I'm going to go with KYB's when I rebuilt the front. Basically ANY shock/strut combo will amaze you, if you're running on worn-out pieces, and especially if you've still got the factory units on there.

May father just cashed in on his life-time warranty on his Monroe struts for his 96 GP (I live on a dirt road, and its pretty rough).

After they replaced them, they said that now they only come with a one year warranty. I wonder if thats just because he cashed in, or because monroe went cheap on us. Just some useless rambling I guess...

My Firebird just received a full set of Gabriels.
Nice change.
Could my car be about an 1" taller due to new shocks/struts?
I need replace my steering linkage now.
Then onto bushings & ball joints.
Any new will be a great change.
Make sure you bargin for them to install the stuff!
I got rears installed for free & fronts done for $40/pair.
WORTH IT!
