Car not starting

Ok My camaro will not start I believe that its geting spark (cant cheack at the momunt raining out side.) I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, control module and the coil. It seems to be getting gas becuase after a couple of trys you can smell the gas from the engine. The gas is a little old but I added about dry gas. ANy body have any Ideas?

Without any more info, I would check to make sure power is actually getting to the distributor and coil. You changed your wires, cap and rotor; are you sure your timing is correct, are all the wires on the right plugs. Its an '86 so I assume its carbureted, is the carb flooding, is the choke working? Last but not least did you gap the plugs or go by the pregap guarantee that I'm sure was destroyed when the UPS guy dropped the box.

Just my $0.10... hope it helps.

Later,
Brian

Did you check the timing, and are you sure all the correct wires go to the correct connections on the distributor and plugs. Does it try to start meaning does it pop or sputter?

Ok I'll pull the plugs and check them but it sould be fine. The car just turns over no pops or sputters. how can I check the timing with out the car running. all of the plug wires are hooked up like in the repair manual.
