Custom CAI, Where does the MAF go?

Whoever wrote that article didn't cover the MAF (or didn't know about it) on 85-89 2.8's. They wrote it for a 90-92 3.1, which has no MAF. Drilling a hole in PVC is for relocation of the MAT, manifold air temp sensor.
As long as you install the MAF between the TB and air filter, you're fine. Just keep the MAF sensor orientated correctly as far as direction of air flow (don't install it backwards). Home Depot sells flexible rubber PVC pipe couplers you could use; diameter of the MAF is 3 inches.
