What do'ya do...

I'm just curious/nosey about the occupation/profession of the guys/gals who own a Camaro v6 (or two).

Let's start with me: Work for a Bank (BofA) and still a college student.

Okay, now your turn...

Nothing like a good thread to make a guy feel old.

I'm a systems tech for one of the largest pipeline companies in the country. I work with process control and instrumentation, as well as mechanical repairs on large pumps and industrial electrical systems. In a nutshell, I play around gasoline all day.

My off hours are spent helping my son work on his '86 2.8 powered Camaro when it needs it. When I'm not doing that, I'm trying to get things ready to put my speedboat back together, and when I get finished with that, My '71 Charger needs my attention. The wife said she needed a few things done too, maybe after the Charger is done

I'm a server at Pizza Hut, do computer work (ANYTHING) on the side, and also do tune ups, and help friend's work on their vehicles.

Pizza hut - $2.15/hr + tips (Generally bringing $250-$300/wk)
Computer Tech - $35 service call, $15/hr + parts, and build computers + set them up. Made $200 this week doing that.
Tune Ups - Right now just for the experience, and helping out - Good Karma kind of stuff. Just price of parts

Well, i am 23, working full time during the day, and going to school full time at night.

I work for a small ministry in chicago, i am the network admin.(35000 yearly)

I make more than enough money to pay for my car and mods, but add in rent,GF, and gas and insurance for 3 cars, it adds up quick.

But i did manage to have it painted, get the wheels i wanted. And have finally got enough money to put my L98 in.

I'm 24 and am in college studying computersI'd like to get into an automotive tech industry though (one can only dream). Again, I work at Bank of America, making $9.00Hr. I work from 25-35hrs a week. If I'm not fixing my car, I'm usually putting something new in it. But most likely I'm fixing it.

This is great guys...keep'em comming.

Daily task... Users try to break thier computers as fast they can and I try to fix them faster then they break them. It's a never ending battle that I rarely win. Well at lest that what it feels like when you are the only person supporting a little over 800 users.

Im 18, almost 19. I graduated last year and i work a BOS moving company for $8.50 and hour, and $11.00 an hour overtime.

I work roughly 12 hours a day, so thats 8 hours of normal pay, and 4 hours of overtime. Which leaves me with usually 3 days off a week, and 55 hours a week total.

At the end of the week, i am ussually raking in around $490 - $550

Its very very hard work, but is also pretty enjoyable. (when its not humid outside)

Am I the only guy here with more than one job??

LOL... Back to school in the Fall on top of everything... dual majoring in Electrical Computer Engineering / Computer Information Sciences.

Maybe open up a speed shop with some friends on the side

I'm a workaholic. LOL... It's fun though. Just got the '74 Maverick (My girlfriend's car - what guy wouldn't want a girl that's into cars, and hot to boot? ) put back together. Converted it from points to HEI. Gotta cool down a minute, check the 'net, then hook up the coil and fire 'er up!

I deliver pizzas for extra money, attend college and run a small auto repair operation called JayRok Speed Demons with my bestest friend in the whole wide world, JAY. When I'm not doing that, I'm impressing Z28 owners on the highway with a top speed of 150 + m.p.h. Yeah my car sucks in the quarter mile but, in the half mile I start to catch up to those BIG OL' V8's. We're talking stock f-bodies here people. cept for my rearend. It has 2:41 ratios. threw my speedo off till I put in the right speedo gears.

Love Rocco
