Oh no...not another nitrous post ;)
Alright guys....I've ben throwing the idea of nitrous for awhile now. It's something i definatly want to go with. I've been doing research on which system would be best for me installation and safety wise and the best system that i came across was the Venom Nitrous system. It's pricey..very pricey but this system looks like the safest way to go.
Summit sells two systems. The high price but not overly expensive system : VNM-N45-132 i like this system, however i'm picky and i want all the bells and whistles. So i'm looking at the overly priced VNM-VCN45-132 at a insane price of $1300. I believe I can get a crate motor for that price right??
My plans are still up in the air but I'm really diggin the Venom system. So here's a question for you guys....what have you guys heard about these systems? i wanna here the good and the bad... anything.
i plan on keeping my 3.1L. I like it my 6 cylinder, it runs good and i don't want to part with it for a v8. Maybe it's just a girl thing lol.
I'm writing a book here but here's another question. I haven't had much engine work done. I have the 1.52 roller rockers, all new injectors, hypertech igniton coil. That's about it, but it's start. What else should be worked on before I actually get my nitrous system??? I've read about having to upgrading my ignition system and buying a MSD control unit. I want to make sure my cars in tip top shape before i decide to run anything. I was also juggling around the idea of better cam. I can't afford all of this right away cuz i'm trying to save up for a beater for the winter but i'd like to start gathering as many parts as i can. I'm dead serious about this project.I know alot of people talk smack around here but Gimme your opinions guys. Tell me what you think

I have no problem with a 75 shot on a 3.1... the problem is refilling the bottle!
That's why I'm going turbo instead. Still have the whole power-only-on-demand, and no refilling of bottles.

that high end system could get you another car
a good NEW setup should cost around $700 including a purge kit & fuel pressure safety switch.

I agree with Project85... I'd rather buy the regular system and spend the other $600 on something else. I do like how the kit is a dry kit (additional fuel supplied through fuel injectors).
