My 1989 Pontiac Firebird 2.8L keep stalling

I have a 1989 Pontiac Firebird, 2.8L V6, auto transmission, pretty much stock. The car start very well when it's cold, but ****, when I'm driving it and that it get hotter, the car idle like **** and sometimes will stall. I changed the EGR valve, distributor, rotor, spark plugs... The mechanics can't find what the problem is... Oh yeah, and the Service Engine Soon light comes on too sometimes but the codes it's trowing seems to have been adressed the mechanics says. Ah, sorry for my bad english, I'm not to good too in cars too...

I forgot to tell you that I don't have any catalyst (only a pipe to replace it) and the muffler is shot... I don't know if it's connected with my problem so I tought I should tell you.

Reset the computer, drive it til it does the light...and pull a code. Post what it is.... If you don't know how to pull a code....go to the tech articles on here. Click on Miscellaneous. It'll be the first item. Simple job once you find the connector. All ya need is a paper clip...some speaker wire...ANYTHING that's conductive.

Your IAC valve might be acting up. Do a cleaning job on it... The how-to is posted as a tech article on the board if I remember right...it's very easy. See if the cleaning helps.

Also could be a fuel filter...but you wouldn't throw a light for that. Still, I'd check your fuel pressure to be on the safe side. I would think that anything below 34 or 35 psi or so is abnormally low. Not sure how much pressure these motors run...my 302 ran 38 at idle.
