1/8 mile track times!

i ran the "beast" last week at the 1/8 mile track and my times were 11.3 with the car a 220 temp and i had all kinds of tools in the back with a non stock jack. also in the passinger seat i had a set of sbc cilinder heads. with the tv cable still not ajusted all the way right.

on the 2nd run i ran a 11.02 with every thing above the same but i didnt have the heads in the car and my car was running about 160 temp..so i think with some ajustmenst i will be running in the mid to hi 10's just thought id let ya know.. i cant weight to pull the 6 out hopefully soon.

Cool. I never like the 1/8 mile. Always seem like an odd measurent of speed to me. I don't go to any tracks unless its 1/4 mile, which I have yet to do.

1/4 tracks will generally give you your 1/8h times/speeds as well.

10.909 @ 64.64mph in the 1.8th for me!
