My car pulls to the right.
I posted this in the suspension board but got 1 reply. Any ways i hit a truck tire in the middle of the freeway doing 80 it messe dup my front fender got my car back and the car pulled to the right. So i got a alignment and the camber i think was out of spec. Well after wards the place tried to say i had Radial Wear and wanted to sell me a new set of tires i said no thanks my tires are a year old. But the car still pulls to the right and the steering feels loose. I was looking at the front tires and on the outside tread on both tires its worndown but the inside tread and middle tread look perfect. Could it be my tires causing the pull or could it be something else. Also i lowerd my car 1 inch a while back so i dont know if that could of warn my tires the way they are wearing.
Take it to a different shop and have them do a front end inspection. My tires were waring liek that when my outer tie rods were shoot to hell. The inspection should be free and only take about 30 - 60 min.

Did you have the car aligned after lowering it?
"Normal" wear on the outside edge of the tread is okay; our suspensions do that "by design"; it's unavoidable. But if the wear is excessive (as in, the tire's getting very bald very fast on the outer edge), then something's probably wrong.
Have you ever replaced the center link or idler arm yet? Again, by the design of our suspension, those are "wear parts". They wear out just from normal, everyday use. Mine were replaced back in '96, and I just replaced them again that few weeks ago.

No i have not replaced the idler arm the only things that have been changed are the sway bar bushings and the endlinks. But i dont understand why this happend after i ran over a tire. Wouldnt the alignment of helped it. Also y wheel isnt centering right and i have to have my whee l tilted to the left some to go straight.

Sounds like something got bent or messed up when you hit the tire. They should have checked for that when the did the alignment. I agree with BitchinRS. Take it to a different shop for an inspection. If they find something wrong, go to the first shop and ask for your money back.
I've tried to get my alignment done twice at Midas, and they find worn things that won't allow them to do the alignment. Granted they want me to spend more money there and get it fixed so they can then do the alignment, but the parts they point out ARE worn.
They really shouldn't do an alignment if there's something else wrong. Even though it's more money out of your pocket, it's still in your best interest to get it fixed properly, for your safety if for nothing else.

Yeah when my outer tie rods were bad they told me that the car wouldn't hold the alignment for long. SO when I got the cash together they did the second alignment for free. Kinda nice of them to do that for me. I don't doubt that there is somthing bent or that was on it's way out and hitting the tire sealed the deal.
Best thing to do is get it cheked out so you can get it fixed. When you are talking about steering and suspension parts you are talking about your safty. Imagine what would happen if you tossed a tie rod or center link at 65MPH. Not a nice thought!!!
As for the steering wheel not being centered. Some alignment shops just plain suck and they don't take the extra 2 min. to center the wheel.
