I just got my MSD GM Blaster coil in and wow! I don't know if it was the cool air tonight or the coil (we'll say it's the coil to make me feel good ) but power brakes were a-plenty. Got brave and did a few right in the middle of town at the stoplights. Can't wait to see what it'll do once I get the box in, if I can find a place to put it! Weeeeeeeeee!!!

The coil does make a difference over aging stock one. I have an Accel coil myself, didn't make as dramatic of difference as the Accel 300+ Box. Even a brand new stock coil is pretty good over the 15 year old factory one.

More juice is better but I think the biggest improvement you will see over the long run is moving the coil out of its stock [hotter than hell0] location. Its a simple mod that can improve the life of a pricy coil.
I moved mine up to the cowl lip and bolted it down there.

I changed the wires last night from the toasted accels to AZ Double Silicone, & dremelled the carbon off the plugs again. WOW!!!!!!!
It runs smoother, has actual power when the gas pedal is it (had to contain myself this morning), and the brake pedal is about 100% less spongee. I still need to permanently mount the coil, but it will probobly be around where TomP did his.
