I just bought an OEM coolant temperature gauge to mount under my dash. My stock one is busted (stays at about 100 all the time.. yea right) I have a position under the dash selected. I know how to mount it, but i've never drilled through a firewall and I dont know where to connect the sensor.

Has anyone done this? Any pointers?
