1987 V6 rearend ?????

I have a 87 V6 car(now has a 350) and was just wondering what the most common rearend gear ratio was? Not sure if i have 3.42 or 3.23 and am too lazy to take the diff cover off. Anyone know what the most common gearing ratio was for that year? and no my car has no rpo codes anywhere.
