Oil Leak/Rear Main Seal?

Okay so far the car is running better with each little thing I am doing to it. But at this time I have oil dripping from the bottem of the bellhousing. I think it might be the rear main seal.

How much does this cost to get fixed?
I would do it if I had the knowledge and a second car to use while fixing this one.

Anyone know what other oil leaks are known on the 1984 2.8L V6, carborated, firebirds?

I think you have the 2pc rear main. if so, this will be easy:

(doing this from memory of chilton, use as guide, but get repair manual for full steps)
Remove erl pan
Remove rear main cap.
Remove lower seal from cap
Using screwdriver, push up on one end of remaingn seal to push out the other side
Goop up new rear main seal & gnlty push through
Goop up rear main cap & install seal
Install cap & torque to spec
Replace erl pan & gasket
fill w/erl

If 1 pc, then the tranny gets to be unbolted from engine to do this. I'll leave this to the book
