heater question
i was wondering, what besides a heater core (or coil) makes up the heating system in a car? my v-6 is for sale, and i'm looking at an '85 that has a new engine in it, but when the guy dropped it in, he left out the a/c and heat components. i can live without a/c, but i need heat. i guess the heater core is still in the car, but what underhood things are part of the heating system? would it be hard to add heat to a car? would only thirdgen heating systems work, or would any car's do? ANY help is appreciated....i need to figure out how difficult this would be.....if it's not hard, i should have a new car tommorow, otherwise...still looking

My heater core took a dump, so this is in my future. shouldn't be too hard, dash not fully in place yet.

That guy sound like he is an almost hard core street racer. But they go the extra step and remove the windshield wipers and motor.
