threw a code 32
hi all--
just had my service engine light come on and did the wire jump trick..came out as a code 32 which is the e-g-r i believe...is this hard to replace or is it fairly easy to do????i am on a budget and slowly but surely am learning--i have a high mileage car with the 2.8 six cylinder..also, what is the expense on something like this...i have a donor car for parts---would it be o.k. to use the e-g-r valve off that car??any advice or info. would be greatly appreciated..thanks..sinjin 89

First check for a vacuum leak. I left one hose off and when I hit the freeway, it threw a 32... it was the vacuum line for the EGR.
If that doesn't fix it, I think it's just 2 bolts for the EGR to replace. And its good you got the 2.8 cuz the 3.1 is a digital EGR which costs a lot!
