3.4 swap problem... did a search and found nothing..???
what goes in this hole in the block in the front next to the thermostat?
I got the motor for free and it came without a lot of stuff..... I dont recall taking anything out of it...
I searched a ton for this... I cant find any pictures of that front part of a 3.4L Fbody... and I cant find where anyone has done anything about this hole
I looked at my 2.8L block and that hole is not there, same with my spare 3.1L I have....
Im so lost... can someone help me? Im in a little bit of a rush to get this one the road and put some miles on it before I got off to school.....

Cool, I never seen that hole w/o the sensor in it.
what do you plan on using to plug it for future reference?

Just that top one is the one in the block is what I was wondering about.... probably going to try and knock a freeze plug in it to plug it up.

project, thats the camshaft sensor only. The crank sensor is mounted on the timing chain cover, and then another on the side of the block down by the starter.
