cam instalation

What's all involved in putting a cam in a 2.8? Do you have to degree it or can u just throw it in there?

Degreeing is something that's done as an "extra touch", to make sure the cam is set up the way it should be. It's not something you have to do... it's kinda like a final check on the cam specs.

The Haynes 82-92 Camaro or 82-92 Firebird manual will give you the details on a cam swap. The most details can be found in the GM Shop Manual from http://www.helminc.com .
