Or take the easy way, go to an exhaust shop, have a new 02 fitting welded in for ~40 total.

Depends on what tools you have to your access.

No tools, take to muff shop. (350's idea)

Basic hand tools, attempt chissel and hammer (projects idea)

Lots of power/air tools, die grinder, cut the welds, remove it, grind area clean, install some wd40 in the hole, and screw new one in.

Buy an electric grinder from wal mart... grind welds away, return electric grinder.

No cost overall

I got one that tops that. The previous owner of my car SUPER GLUED the bulbs in the high mount brake light. So when one burned out I had to go searchin for the part of the light that holds the bulbs. The moron claimed the bulbs were like $15 a bulbs or somethin, here I go to Wal-Mart or Advance and see them for $7. What a moron, we should give awards to the O2 man for being a moron too. Why would you MIG a O2 sensor in? I would think the direct heat on the O2 sensor would damage it more so than hot exhaust.

The guy I had work on my car a few years ago welded on my bolt-on cat with a whole load of weld so that I could never replace it again. I had to take the whole y-pipe off.

First: Amen to the previous owner comments

And on the spoiler-mount CHMSLs, at 35 bucks for 5 bulbs that will burn out again, I say screw that. With a little inginuity and some solder to strengthen the posts, good 'ol 194 bulbs can be modified to fit in the CHMSL.. at about 5 bucks for the assembly

The guy might've had the oxy sensor welded on because he stripped out the bung... you might wind up having to do what Overclk350 says...
