New 2.8L Camaro Owner
New 2.8L Camaro Owner
Hey guys, whats goin on. Well tommarow I go to pick up my '85 2.8L Auto Camaro. I'm gettin it from a family member for free, already dualed out, cd player, some kind of wheels, and it runs. Can anyone tell me about my car. What tranny, rear end is/should be in it. Wut are the HP numbers. I'm just gettin it to mess around with. I've always wanted a V6 Camaro to mess with V8's. I am restoring a 1981 Z28 with a 350 pushin about 400HP/425Ft Lbs of torque. I'm pretty excited to finally get a fuel injected car. Always played with carb'd cars. What are some free mods i can do when i get it to increase performance. What are some mods that cost $$. I really apreciate all the help. Have a good one,
Brendan

Best mod Ive done is the 3.4 swap... got the 3.4 for free and rebuild it. 400 miles on the motor now and I got on it 1/2 way today and it pulls like a raped ape compared to before... still slow, but much faster. ... of course my 2.8L dynod ~77rwhp, so there was something wrong w/ it heh....

Yeah, the 85 (what a great yr
