How do you reset codes?

How do you reset codes?

Read in the haynes about a ECM plug under the hood to reset the ECM but couldn't find it, I don't think thye mean the Fuel pump/ECM fuse do they? Thanks.

disconnect negative battery terminalfor at least 30 secs. Reconnect.
Reset radio presets.
done.

Then so the computer relearns itself, go for a 1/2 hour drive away at 55 mph. That makes you drive a 1/2 hour back home at 55 mph, which gives total drive time = 1 hour, enough for the computer to relearn itself.

If you wait for the computer to relearn itself during normal day-to-day driving (traffic), it'll take forever, and your car might run like crap.
