Deceleration Valve

Okay if anyone is intrested there is a place called Mike's in PA that carries the Deceleration valve that was in the T5 2.8's. They appear to be the last people carrying it as GM discontinued it AGES ago.
To see what the vavle looks like, see the post by donward in this post
It was 26$ +tax and shipping, so not bad for a discontinued part....the qestion is what do we do when no one has that in the future?

Oh and for those intrested, yes there is a way to check the deceleration vavle to see if it works or not. I can copy it out of the GM manual if there is enough need.

Jurrel, I see you are from Calif. also- quick question- Is your car originally a Calif. dealer sold car or an out of state car? and if so, does it have an EGR Valve on the stick shift version? I never knew 5-speeds did not have EGR's from what pictures I have just seen.

Thank you, Dean.

Yep the car is a california one, and yes it has EGR as well.
I would assume any stick shifts without the EGR would be modified by the owners.
