tubular a frames or front suspention upgrades

im realy looking to beef up my 84 firebird. its already has the exsisting ws6 suspention package but i want more. It has become an obsesstion to see how fast i can drive through turns.
I would love to have tubular lower control arms but have never seen them for these cars, does any one no if there is anything out there that could help?

You are on the wrong board but got the right guy to answer- I'm a suspension guru.

The only current manufacturer of front tubular A-arms is PA Racing (their products are weak and notorious for poor fit. They are mainly designed for very lightweight dragracing applications and not for roadrace.)

Two other companies are in current designs- Global West (who makes a very strong product but takes FOREVER to R&D a product-don't hold your breathe), and the other is Spohn. Steve Spoihn will have a k-member and tubular front control arm setup availible sometime in the early 2004 and will be boilt for the rigors of roadracing.

do you have subframe connectors?

the guys on the suspension board say that F-Bodys should have never came without them and they make a world of difference.

Your '84 has an existing WS6 package, but it has a v6 motor in it? How'd that happen?

Check out classicindustries.com, they sell a set of adjustable heavy-duty tubular-style arms.
