I was also running some Berryman's Emissions Stuff and it failed with that. Drove it for about 100miles+ then took it through emissions.

I played with the idle screw a little, no clue when it was last rebuilt... though the engine seems to run fine.. just not clean.

Timing is good, although I don't know if I'm getting any Vac Advance.... No vacuum coming from the line when I rev... though this is all at a stand still I guess with the two vacuum valve things up front that might change? I have the timing at 7deg... book calls for 6.

I know V8 guys who retard the timing and cerate a hidden vacuum leak to pass.

Try replacing the O2 sensor. My IROC failed last week, so I had a new O2 sensor installed, and it passed no problem. In fact, with the new sensor, the car is running cleaner than my 2000 Grand Am!

No computer on this guy, no O2 sensor.
