Tach hook ups?

Ok Would a tach hook up from a 79 Camaro work with my 87. Its connects directly to the dist. I know the 79 isn;t comp controlled. and my 87 is. They both run HEI dist. i was wondering if it would hook up?

Sure it will.
Get ahold of manufacture for specifics.
It MAY require "selecting a different setting" inside tach house for "6 cylinder".
This is NOTHING to fear, just twist to the "6" setting.
Just about every aftermarket MODERN DAY TACH will have this cylinder selection screw.
Manufacturer will also guide you as to how to hook up.
