Code 34....What to do?

Its a 91 camaro 5-spd

I believe this is low voltage at the MAP sensor. I've checked all vacuum lines and they look good. What should I do before I decide to replace the MAP? Anything else to check or is this a sign that the MAP is going dead? I do have a strange idle problem, idles a bit a rough, idle will jump to 2600 when the clutch gets put in driving in traffic, and will stall at a stop with the AC on.

Ok, just want to make sure thier is nothing else I can check before I shell out more money for a sensor.

You can hook up a scanner. Our school has one that will pull the codes and also will tell you how to test a sensor and then help you hook the scanner up to the sensor and graph its signals, and from there we can tell if its bad. Dont you hate that you cant return those pesky electrical components after install?
