A twin turbo 350 on a T56 would be called a fairy tail in most sections.

What's wrong with a turbo 350 on a T56? The stock vette T56 is known to handle 600+hp with no problem.

Of course I was giving props and poking fun at the small minded that surf this site. I think about 50% of this whole board wouldn't believe anything in this thread.

I'm game for lineing them up, maybe at the next 60degree meet? We'd have to get that on video.

raven, nice to see that intake on a RWD 60* motor....question about it, will a distributor fir back there? or is that why you are running the DIS?

I looked a few different ideas to run a distributer, but all of which would need a custom distributer, hence part of the reason I am running DIS, the other part is the ECM and PROM I am running is programmed for a DIS ignition. I may in the future for testing purposes, make some sort of crank driven distributer, but that will be a while off, I really need to get working on The Raven, if I have any hope of getting it built in the next year or two.

Are those gauges just for testing or on all the time??? Is that the new trick piece. Dual gauges with a set under the hood.

no pun but you know how them ricers are. I'm waiting to see a PS2 instlled under the hood with a LCD on the intake.

it makes it much easier to tune the car when you have the guages right there next to you. i was going to do this but the money source runs dry for things like that.

We got a store called BigLots that has gauges most of the time. Last time it was the mino sunpro ones for 3.99 each. I got a nice chrome set for $20 there for my bike. Ebay has about the same prices but shipping sucks.

Gumby, Show me some of your enginuty, then I might take your smart *** remarks into consideration, I didn't realize that having a gauge or 2 under the hood, especially when the engine is fired for the first time (that pic was taken during cam break in), to keep an eye on things, was considered to be as you say "****" when last I checked **** was something that was eaten, not a part of automobiles.

I don't know about you, but when I build something I like to keep an eye on things, hense the fuel pressure gauge which has now been replaced by a smaller 1.5" fuel rail mounted gauge, and the vaccuum/boost gauge (that was next to the master cylinder in that pic) has now been moved inside. If this truck was more than just a daily driver, I would have a second set of gauges installed in the engine bay for tuning between runs, but I guess you couldn't comprehend the idea of tuning and checking things without running around the truck all the time, or needing to rely on a second set of eyes.

This has now put the nail in the coffin, this forum is hopeless when it comes to a true desire to have a well performing V6, I hope that those that use this forum dwells in there limited ideas and medocure performance, save a select few who actually try and make things work better than they were intended to.

614streets, I'll talk to you over at the real V6 forums and s-series boards, Dale good luck with everything you're doing, and there are a few I am forgetting, but for the rest of you, enjoy your stay, I know I didn't.

You miss read everything I wrote. I think the gauges are neat. You need to take a chill pill and get off your ego trip.
