guys with 3.4 knowledge

ok so lets start yesterday, i drove about 130 miles round trip to pick up some seats, i noticed my car was running hotter than usual but i figured it was because of the long drive and the traffic. this morning it was running hot, thats when i thought humm thats not right. well this afternoon i got about 5 minutes from school and that thing was at 260. drove it the rest of the way home. let it cool and opened the cap, whoa, no coolant. i put some in saturday cause i thought it was low. ok so now i know why it overheated, now where did the coolant go. when the cars cool its not leaking any, but when it gets warm she starts a leakin. its comming from front bottem (possibly and front lower side?) a pretty steady leak. so i can rule out waterpump cause i can see all around that perfect and theres no leak. btw, i know its leaking from the front lower part of the block because its running off into a channel in the front chassis. the lower raditor hose doesnt look like its leaking but ill have to check tomorrow in the day light. my dad said if its not that he things a freeze plug is to blame, also a guy ive gotten car adivce from in the past at a auto parts store said he things its a freeze plug. can someone give me insight on this and maybe even a picture of the front bottem of a 3.4? ill try to post some pics tomorrow of where i see coolant sitting.
