Got code 32 and 34, need help or advice
Okay, I've got a code 32 and 34 on my 89 Firebird, 2.8L and automatic trans. What is the stuff to check when these codes appears on our cars? I know one of the code is an EGR thing code but we changed it like 8 months ago... Thanks

check the vaccum lines to the EGR system, i pulled the EGR code up a while back, thought about replacing the whole unit, then found a line that wasn't connected, took forever to find out where it went however (the lil tit was hidden) but eventually it showed up as well and no more EGR issues after it. Make sure there are no free fixes well before you start spending $$ to fix something that isn't broke (yet).
gotta love aging cars.
gotta love aging cars. yeah, I had the same problem, only after I hooked that line back up, I found out it also had a hole burnt into it. It's the line that runs off the EGR solenoid right under the one that goes to the valve. It runs under the throttle body. The code 34 is low voltage from mass airflow sensor, check the piece of orange frequency tape inside the sensor, if it's not perfectly flat, its bad.

those MAF units can get a lil' pricy also....i was having tons of trouble with my car for a while, buddy gave me a remanned MAF he had lining around for his ole' 2.8L maro, swapped them, problems were still there, couldn't figure it out took the car to the shop, (bad wires on the coil, bad wires to the distributor (not plug wires), bad MAF, bad pickup coil....list went on forever, they fixed everything and placed another remanned MAF unit on the car ... said they were trying to save me a lil cash (think it was like 150-200 instead of the 500 the factory watned for a enw unit.
