computer chip, please respond if you have any info.

I want to put a racing chip in my 2.8 v6. i want to know if that will stress the engine an any of it's componets to much. anything i could do to it to improve the power or accelleration.

Axle/Gears: 3.73
most people around here do not like the hypertech or any of those "off-the-shelf" aftermarket chips for our cars. you're best bet would be prom burning equipment and learning how to tune your car to your likings with it.

Hypercrap is just that if you want it tuned you need to do it yourself but until you get some mods it is really not worth the money.

The off the shelf chips aren't worth what they charge for them, but my car did run smoother and took off 0.2 seconds with a Jet stage 2.....

It's in my roommate's car too and he noticed it run smoother when he installed it as well.

If you think a chip is the first thing you want to put on your motor to generate power, I think you need to spend a few solid hours reading this board.
