You have the best CAI
Already. Just get a couple of K&N filters and put them in

yeah, those camaro "y" intakes are pretty good.... most people who have swapped ls1's into thirdgen camaros still use them. the best thing you could do with it is (as mentioned above) throw some K&N's in the boxes and also to gut out the lower airboxes. search the site for "gutted airboxes" and ram air set ups.... plenty of people have done this. best of luck!

G0d I hate to even sound like this but you need to use the search button first. Its been talked about a million times and every question you have has already been answered.

There has been 5 thread about it just this year 04

Of course a treu CAI is better for any car any engine, peroid. They will all bennfit from it, even your lawn mower. Which has a CAI instaleld at the factory.

lots of us have "gutted" the air boxes, but if you find dowards gutted air boxes, his is probably the best, pull the air filters, you see the ground, lol. i remember the pics. just cut the bottoms off and put in k&n air filters, youre all set.
wow, i just realized im repeating what everyone else said, lol

That was the first mod I did to my V6 back in 2000... however, knowing better these days.. I highly reccomend less drastic approaches.

The same air intake setup is used on the L98s.. which require double the air our V6s do.. methinks we're not catching them in flow potential any time soon.

I really wouldn't mind but it to early in the year to have so many dup threads. I think newbies just like talking about it. I don't blame them but I don't feel like repeating myself so many time in a short period of time.

CAI in good. My car run great from a true CAI. search for true CAI to find out what I mean.

A true CAI is the only option in my book.
