dynomax is supposed to be the quietest performance muffler.... might wanna try hooker aerochamber or a magnaflow muffler.... supposed to be quiet while cruising but get loud when you step on it...

Why not give your question to the guy who is helping have made STREET LEGAL HEADERS FOR OUR CARS?

Fred Gerle at Pace Setter Exhaust would be able to assist ya.

Fgerle@pacesetterexhaust.com

Make sure you thank him for helping on the Street legal headers for our F Body ride coming soon!
I must say I doubt they make a product for side dumping exhaust.
When exhaust done right no need to reengineer it.

I've heard of guys cooking their carpet by doing this... granted, these guys had "real" 60's-70's muscle cars with big motors, but you might want to add an extra heat shield or two under the car. I guess you could either bolt it to the floorboards, or rivet it up there.

Make sure to put black silicone (in the gasket aisle) in the holes in your heat shield and the floorboard and cover the bolt/rivet in the stuff; this will seal out moisture and prevent rust.

Actually it might be best to use Aluminum rivets instead of steel bolts or steel rivets!

hmmm ive been told that taking the big hump over the rear axle would lead to gains and i can take a welder from work and was just going to mount the muffler right after the cat and kick the end out the side
