v6 Headers

Are there any aftermarket v6 headers out there that are any good?

Also I was wondering, I'm kind of a computer homo and I have some case fans that push some serious air, 85cfm. Was thinking about maybe putting them in the intake tube, think it would do anything?

Re: v6 Headers

Current headers = PF&E, don't have a link on hand, searching would be a good idea. Pacesetter is in the process of making headers.

As far as the fans, they're not nearly big enough to make any difference whatsoever. My test for fans is "Lay a 1-2 lb text book on the fan. If the fan causes the text book to lift, it might be worth trying" ... I think you can see the likelyhood of most electric fans lifting the text book... Even assuming they did lift the book, 85 CFM becomes a restriction at approximately 2000 rpm in a 2.8. Then the fan gets overdriven by the engine forcing it to run beyond its rated speed and breaks, possibly throwing who knows what into your engine, probably resulting in serious internal damage.

PF&E are the only headers..kinda costly but they work for me....think im one of the very few that actually bought some. pics can be found of them at

Good n and ews everyone. Pacesetter is working on the headers for our 2.8 and 3.1 engines and they are researching the difference between them. I was notified by them that it should be ready for sale in 2-4 months. Good time to save up:lala:
