V6's With STBS
For the few of us with v6s and STB's. Can you take measurements for me on how far your bar is away from the intake. And where in relation on the intake you are measureing from.
Also, diameter of the bar would help too
Plan on making one, and I dont want to make it, then close the hood to buckle it
Thanks!

I have seen many pics of the V6 rides w/the STB. RedRaif has teh BMR one, I think it's teh TPI version, but not sure. Your not gonna have the hood clearence issues teh Firebirds have, so that's something to take into consideration when you hear about them hitting the hoods.
edit: how ironic......... https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=229417

I seen that one project.
Only people I know for FACT with one is redraif, and agood.
I dont want the eldbrock one because the 3point in back somewhat blocks the distrib. Plus I like the fact of having something different

the Shock tower brace on my friends 66 Stang has an arc in it to go around the distributer, kinda like :

maybe you could make one that goes under the air intake by the tb.
