Find the one about the IAC and TPS, but ignore the TPS part.

I'd type it all up, but I'm too lazy.

If you have an adjustable TPS then you can't just "ignore" that part. Resetting your minimum air rate will change your TPS voltage at idle.

To be honest, I don't know how to do this without a scantool. There's no way to know what your IAC counts are.

Here's what I do:
1) Clean IAC pintle.
2)Run engine to operating temp. A/C off, adjust throttle screw until IAC counts are around 15-20.
3) Reset TPS voltage to spec. (adjustable TPS only)
4) Disconnect ECM-B fuse for 10 seconds

Done.

I dont' know about the V6's anymore, the the TPI's are self-adjusting (the TPS). Anyways, that tech article has the proper procedure for adjusting it.

You mean only the 90-up speed density tpi's were auto-adjusting, right?

For info on the IAC valve, click here: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=175177

I've never adjusted the IAC or throttle stop on my car; I've always just kept the IAC system clean- and so far so good, with over 266,000 miles on the clock!
