What size exhaust pipe...?

I need a new muffler and was wondering what size pipe i should run from the cat back. My car is unmodded daily driver 2.8. I'm thinking of getting a hooker muffler.

This company makes EVERYTHING for your exhaust & Ya get to chat with an engineer who helps design the exhaust systems, too.
PS, yes 2 1/2" seems to be best recomendation.
Factory is 2 1/4"
