Outta curosity, I checked today as I was at Rydel Chevrolet in Northridge, CA. I asked to see the newest GM Performance Parts Catalog.
Publication still has the ad for the 3.4 crate engine.
I ask him, how much and are they made anymore.
$2500 & NOPE no longer made.
Says Janis Joplin, "Get It While Ya Can"
One can still find a 3.4 crate engine in the dealer network, but the rest will be "rebuilt" or low milage, used mills, now.
I do know of one 3.4 for sale, too.
In pieces.
Not mine.

For $2500 i think id go with a v8 swap. One of the reasons why the 3.4 swap is so attractive is its a very low cost swap vs a v8 swap that would require a new trans and other crap.
