Flowmaster

I am looking for any fellow V6ers with a Flowmaster 80 series. I am thinking about getting one, and I was also planning on gutting the cat or replacing it with a straight pipe. I am looking for a good sound, and wanted to hear from someone with a V6.

got an 80 series also, on a stock motor. The car sounds good, idles nice, and has a great rumble, especially around 2100 RPM, however on the highend, they start sounding *****. A buddy of mine described it as "it sounds kinda like a four cylinder, on crack" I still love it, so do many others i've met, and ... it's loud.

I like my flow master it sounds good especialy with a intake it does how ever get raspy sounding past 3000 rpm but it has a great sounding idle and sounds good when driving at low rpm's. I am sold on flow master thats why i am putting them on my 455 i got 2 40 series with super comp headers with 3 inch collectors and 3 inch exhaust.

hey fastrs, if u can avoid it, don't get the delta flows...they have no where near the sound of the original flowmaster, infact my friends dad put some delta 40's on his 327 impala, car was quieter than my six bird stock.
