I found this at rsmracing.com. It is a supercharger system for a 2.8L FI Fiero. Has anyone ever looked into this? I realize that the Fiero engine geometry is quite different from ours, but maybe it could be made to work.

That one
That one is new to me..... Is it a paxton type or what? Heck, just give me the blower and protocol for getting the extra fuel in. I can build a bracket and pipe the thing in quick....Any takers?

You'd be doing alot of custom piping, finding a home for the MAF would be minor, since you'd literally just make a home for it as you went. MAP would be harder since you'd be trying to compensate with a FMU or swapping to a 2-3 bar system. The supercharger itself could probably be convinced to bolt on with little fanfare, but judging from the pics, the supercharger's position would interfere with steering linkage, which fieros don't have in back...

I saw that not too long ago, but for that price you don't want to have to fabricate anything. Might as well do your own complete fabrication setup which would probably cost less.

Supercharger for the 2.8
Just thought I'd let you all know what I was able to find out. I decided to e-mail RSM Racing and find out what they had to say about doing a supercharger for the 2.8L. Here's a copy of their response.
We have one for the 3.4 Camaro and the 2.8 would be a similar set-up as soon as we have a car to check the fitting. We would do a 2.8 SC kit for a Camaro for $US4000.00 installed and we would need the car in Toronto for 2 weeks.
Sincerely

If anybody is really wanting a supercharger and can part with the car for 2 weeks up in Toronto, there's your deal. After the first person gets one, then I'm pretty sure they'll add it to their list online for people to buy the kits.
I also noticed they have 62mm throttle bodies...any reason these wouldn't fit on the 2.8s?

Cool, but for US$4000+transportation money, I can buy my blue 1987 Iroc with 305TPI, 5-speed, and T-tops. Although if someone's really that willing then the rest of us can get a bolt-on do-it-yourself.

$4k US
That's popping in to 4th gen LT1 numbers (I've seen a couple too)
Sounds more for class type racing, which would justify the price

I agree, just wanted to let people know in case someone had a crapload of money they no longer wanted hanging around. I might think of buying a supercharger setup if it were around $2500 but then I'd probably look at it again and think turbo or custom fab my own.

Maybe I should start a different thread with this, but here goes. I hope somewhere down the line to do a custom supercharger set up. One of the SCs that I've found that fits the configuration I want is from the '87-'88 MR2. Anyone have any experience with this SC?
