Okay, update on my intake system. Check link in sig if you don't know what I'm talking about. After using my car in many different conditions and testing it every which way, the fans I have work nicely.

WOT high rpms for a sustained period of time in both cool air and warm air on highway and winding mountain road, and nothing is thinking of coming apart or breaking. Just pulled them out and gave them a thorough inspection.

Throttle response is better, lower rpms have more power, and they improve my gas mileage. Haven't had a chance to actually go out and get numbers for the gas mileage, but I'm driving the same route more times with filling up less.

Haven't had a chance to check if the rpms are getting bumped up on the fans yet. However, the most that will be the problem with that is the bearing life of the fans. They start making noise and I pull them out. Not a problem there.

This is the first I've heard of your intake mod. What kind of fans are those? Did you try to overclock your computer with them first and then later put them in the car, or are they fans from a kitchen stove hood or what?

Nice work on the set up.

They're 12-24V blower fans made by Nidec @ 6.5 inches in diameter. Picked them up for a project a long time ago that I can't even remember and they sat around for a while til I thought of doing that with them.
